This added to my stress and wanted this vacation for fun and relaxation. My husband recently passed away and this was our trip with our children and grandchildren for the year. I am not asking for anymore than I believe they owe me for not accommodating me for the stress and frustration.
GREAT WOLF LODGE WISCONSIN DELLS INDOOR WATER PARK RESORT PLUS
They gave us free breakfast and $150 voucher for food, when I paid over $5900 plus the added food and gifts we bought for a 10 night stay.

I have asked for the 4 nights to be refunded to me and they will not. Hmmm, we saw on their site they were only booking 50% because of the virus and they had no other room to move us. We asked to be moved and they could not accommodate us until the 5th day. We complained for 4 nights at least 5 phone calls to the front desk and security was called (NOT). We were on the 3rd floor and the fourth floor room above us according to the manager on night had 6 children and they ran from 11:00pm until 4:00am. But, I had to give it 1 star so I was able to post a review From the first night of 7/13/20 until 7/16/20 my family did not sleep. I will not even give the Kalahari Resort, The Dells 1 star. Needless to say I would have left after the first night if we were not up there for a dance comp oh and our bracelets kept having to be restarted for the parks everyday about 20 minutes in line to do this. Finally, we tried to add an extra night before our trip and they refused to honor our original rate and charged us a $150 more for the extra night then the others. when we asked for more toilet paper and coffee which the cleaning service should have replenished i had to call 3 times and the stuff didnt come till 11:00 pm when we were lying down, and they didnt even bring the proper coffee refills I had to go down to the front desk the next morning at 5:30 am to get the coffee. when we asked for more blankets, they brought us 1 blanket and 6 wash cloths for some unknown reason. The guest service was horrible, refused to give us extra pillows so went and bought some. The bed was not comfortable at all, usually when you stay at a resort you wish your bed was that comfortable but i could not wait to get back to my bed at home. The room was not fully furnished with kitchen stuff as basic as a pizza cutter. it was probably the worst guest service I have had in 20 yrs. it was a little disappointing that you had to carry your own raft up for the larger rides with a bad shoulder that was not very fun. I will start off by saying the waterparks are pretty nice indoor and outdoor have some nice rides. But NOT worth the $140 bill! Kalahari needs to stop with their false advertising and price gauging.Ĭharging me almost $800 per night for that room is robbery and not even close to the room advertised. The meal in general was ok, nothing to brag about. We found steak at the other hotel lobby restaurant. We left, because there was NOTHING on the REAL menu that anyone of us wanted. She said "oh the menu was changed three days ago we just have not had a chance to fix the sign outside or in hallway". When waitress came back we asked what the heck was going on. Only three dinners to choose from on that menu and one of them was chicken strip basket! And guess what? No prime rib, in fact no steak at all on the menu. With the lines we saw at 6pm we were so happy that we were smart enough to make reservations until we sat down and were handed the most minimal menu I have ever seen. And flashing sign outside claiming "prime rib everyday". The false advertising continued as we decided to make reservations at the pub based off the menu we saw in the hallway. Bathroom door was very beat up and the room overall was just kind of dingy and outdated. Hmmm I guess "different" means NOT what you paid for. There was no bedside table, my bf used an upside down garbage can.such luxury! When I complained I was told that all the rooms are different. We hung our coats on the ironing board and just piled our clean clothes on the floor. Unlike the picture of room details from their website, in the master bedroom there was no closet, not even a coat rack. But as I said the room was a true disappointment. I stood my ground and got the proper rate. I showed them my receipt and confirmation and the manager tried to tell me "oh those are only average nightly rates' ummmm, no, that is my rate I already paid 1/2 for and agreed to! First off, they tried to change the price on me when I checked in. The room that was almost $800/night was not fully furnished and pretty run down.
